ART CONTEST
The Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra (BSYO) is seeking music-related artwork to become the cover of our 2009-2010 season program. This program will be distributed at our concerts to audiences of 2,500+ people. The winning artwork also will be reproduced for other BSYO materials such as posters, brochures and compact disc covers.
WINNING ENTRY
The winning artist will be featured with a photo and biography in the BSYO’s 2009-2010 season program and receive a certificate of achievement. The winning artist and art teacher also will be recognized on-stage during a BSYO concert and receive a gift prize. The winning artwork will be professionally framed and presented to the winner at that time. All entries will be featured in a “gallery” at a BSYO concert, to which each applicant will receive free tickets to attend.
JUDGING
Decisions of judges are final. The judges/BSYO reserve the right not to select a winner if they deem that no appropriate artwork has been submitted.

Today the BSYO is comprised of three orchestras with students ranging in age from seven to 18. The BSYO holds auditions annually. Participation is open to all students who are members in good standing of their school’s instrumental program, playing the same instrument as with the BSYO, if such program is offered by the student’s school.
