Win 2009 Finals Tickets

  1. The Promoter is the Herald & Weekly Times Pty Ltd (ABN 49 004 113 937) of 40 City RoadSouthbank, Victoria 3006.
  1. Instructions on how to enter and the prizes form part of the conditions of entry. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  1. Entry is only open to residents of Victoria.
  1. To enter, readers of mX must SMS the code word EMIRATES, their full name, address and contact telephone number to 1994 4000.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  1. Multiple entries are acceptable but must be made through separate SMS entries.
  1. Competition SMS costs 55c (inc. GST).
  1. The competition opens at 2pm on Wednesday, September 02, 2009 and closes at 11:59pm Thursday 03 September 2009.
  1. The winner will be drawn and notified by telephone on Thursday 2ND September 2009.
  1. The winner will receive a double pass (two tickets) to the 2009 Geelong Western Bulldogs qualifying final Saturday 5th September.
  1. The prize is strictly as stated above. The prize is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any additional charges including travel, spending money and other incidentals are the responsibility of the winners.
  1. The prize is not transferable.
  1. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoters exclude liability for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity revenue or profit) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion, including attendance at the venue.

16.The Promoter accepts no responsibility if the event is cancelled, or the date is re-scheduled for any reason whatsoever. If the prize or any part of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoter will endeavour but is not obliged to provide a substitute prize of equivalent value.
