NOTICE TO STUDENTS

VENUE: Gol Gol Public school, William Street Gol Gol, New South Wales 2738

2017 FEE: $160.00 per Enrolment

Fees are due to be paid before the closing date for enrolments Friday June 23rd 2017.

Enrolments will take place at:

Gol Gol Public School:

William Street Gol Gol, New South Wales 2738 onSunday July 2nd 2017

between the hours of 1.30pm and 3 pm.

You should bring

  1. A satchel or bag for holding work books, pencils etc.
  2. A manuscript and exercise books.
  3. HB or 2B pencils, biros, ruler and a good quality rubber (eraser).
  4. Your instrument, with all slides working.
  5. Make sure you pack spare strings, reeds, slide cream or valve oil if you require them.
  6. A music stand with your name clearly displayed on it.
  7. Sufficient clothing, personal and toilet items.
  8. Your band or school uniform for the finale concert on the Sunday (July 9th)

Please note:

  • All personal property including your instrument or your band’s instrument is the responsibility of the student enrolled.
  • The Wimmera Bands Group Music School takes no responsibility for lost or damaged instruments and equipment.

Younger students in grade Prep or participating in the beginner band are not required for the evening sessions. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Compulsory Activity Afternoon:

All students are required to participate in the Thursday afternoon activity, mature students must see Mr. Battersby if they wish not to participate. This activity is placed on the time table to give students a break from study.

1.00pm “Wind up Concert”.

A cordial invitation to attend this concert is extended to all parents, bandmasters, band members and followers.

Students Please Note

That in the interest of safety contact sports, including football and rugby, will be permitted during recess and lunch breaks but heavily supervised

 Mobile phones and I pods are to be turned off during Theory and Practical Classes

No chewing gum.

 No Hats of any kind will be permitted to be worn during the final concert or during the group photo taken pre-concert

All students at the school will be expected to wear the uniform of their respective

Band or School for the Finale Concert.

No student is allowed to leave the school grounds without the permission of

Mr. Battersby.

Mr. Battersby is to be advised as soon as possible if a student is unwell and will not be attending any of the classes.

Bad behavior will not be tolerated; students will be sent home at the expense of their parents or guardians.
