3 - On 21 June the CW&C Strategic Planning Committee considered and approved in principal the Outline Plans for the Roften site & the associated Memorial Hall. However before final approval is issued the plans must be approved by the Secretary of State as they conflict with the usage stated in the Borough Plan. WRCS made representation at the 21 June meeting in line with the proposalagreed at our last meeting & some points we made were noted. It should be noted that further opportunities will arise for representation and adjustments to the Roften plan at the Detailed Planning stage should a developer take this forward
