I. THE PRESENTATION OF THE TITLE DEED 5:1-4
A. The Sighting Of The Title Deed 1
1. The Strength “I saw laying on the right hand of Him that sat on the
throne...”
*The Lamb has paid the price to reclaim this lost world.
*God is the offended party. His demands must be met.
*Jesus has delivered over the title deed for safe keeping to God until He
could returnand cast out the invader.
2. The Surety “a scroll written within and on the back”
*The fact that the sealed roll of Rev. 5 had writing both inside and
outside, in thesame manner as Jeremiah 32 and other deeds of
purchase in Israel’s landredemption system indicates that it is a deed
of purchase. R. Showers
3. The Seals “sealedwith seven seals”
*Only the owner could open the seals and disclose the contents.
Originaldocuments were usually sealed and copies were not. Sealed
documents were kept hidden while unsealed copies were made public.

4. The Significance
*The chief significance has to do with the redemption of God’s created
universe andeverything in it.
*The ‘title deed to the earth’…the title deed was forfeited, the inheritance
was lostat Adam’s Fall.
*This forfeited deed has lain upon God’s hand since the fall of man until
now.
B. The Summation To The Title Deed 2
1. The Messenger…strong angel
2. The Motivation…who is worthy…who is worthy?
*Who is worthy to be the ‘kinsman’ and ‘redeemer?’
*This world is out of joint; who has the right and ability to restore it?
C. The Silence Before The Title Deed 3
*No man…
*Then a search was made throughout the created universe.
*None could open it and look upon it.
D. The Sorrow Because Of The Title Deed 4
*“I wept much”
*John knew what this sealed scroll meant. “The Redemption of the
purchased possession” must fail…pain, misery, degradation,
depravation..forever!
Will Satan ever lose his grip on this world?
