Key Responsibilities:

  • Working long hours in all weather conditions I was attentive to making sure each trolley bay was loaded with a fair amount of trolleys.
  • Making sure I remained physically fit to be able to maintain the strength to manage moving a long line of trolleys in one form to move from outer bays to the shop fronts for security purposes.
  • Collecting the trolleys from the shopping centre car park and returning them to the special trolley parking bays near the main entrances of the plaza and to specific trolley bays scattered throughout the car park areas.
  • Taking care not to scratch any cars, using my strength to collect a great number of trolleys at once from the outer car park trolley bays and park them near the store.
  • Being friendly and polite to customers as they collect a trolley to take shopping with them.
  • Trusted with a key, gather a chain to go under all the trolley handle bars and lock them together near the stores’ closing times.
