As in the past years, the Mid-Atlantic – Russia Business Council (MARBC) will again serve as the official organizer of the Russian delegation to the 2009 BIO International Convention. MARBC will present Russian biotechnology companies and organize an exposition on the achievements of Russian scientists and manufacturers in biotechnology and related industries.

On Wednesday, May 20th (also International Day), MARBC will present “Russia’s Emerging Bio-economy: New Developments in Regional Bioclusters, Biofuels, and Bionanotechnology.” The seminar will be held in Room B308 at the Georgia World Congress Center (Building B) at 9:00 a.m.

The Mid-Atlantic – Russia Business Council is organizing Russian participation in the 2009 BIO International convention as the centerpiece of the 10th Semi-Annual Biotechnological Russian-American Innovation Technology Week held from May 13-22 in Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; and Atlanta.
