Understanding that you may be responsible for tuition costs (anticipated to be approximately $3,200 plus $50 AZ resident/$65 non-resident application fee for 2011), are you interested in enrolling in the two U.A. courses (ANTH 395B and ANTH 495B) offered in conjunction with this REU? (Enrollment is not required for participation in the REU, but is encouraged. All participants will complete all requirements of the courses.)

(1) This application cover sheet;
(2) Unofficial copies of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended that clearly indicate the name of the school;
(3) A letter of recommendation from one professor or instructor, sent directly from the writer to the email or USPS address listed below;
(4) An essay of no more than two pages explaining why you would like to participate in this Research Experience for Undergraduates. Provide details concerning your academic and personal experience that relates to this program, your interests in Western Apache heritage and natural resource management, your educational and career goals, and how you feel that your participation will contribute to the program.
