ELIGIBILITY:

This show is open to all members of be Olympic Peninsula Art Assoc.(OPAA) in good standing. Each member may enter up to three (3) pieces that have never previously been entered in the Members’ Show and created no more than two years ago.

ENTRY FEES:

A fee of $5 will be charged for each piece entered.

CONDITIONS:

·  All media will be accepted, including but not limited to:

Two-dimensional works: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pencil, pen and ink, pastel, collage, mixed media, photography, digital.

Three dimensional works: assemblage, sculpture (any medium), basketry, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and fine art textiles.

·  Maximum dimension (including frame) not to exceed 44 inches.

·  Two-dimensional work must be dry, properly framed and wired for hanging with screw eyes and wire (no saw tooth hangers).

·  Class work is acceptable; however if it is a copy of someone else’s original work, it must be labeled as a copy and may not be for sale.

·  OPAA reserves the right to reject any entry deemed inappropriate.

·  OPAA reserves the right to photograph entries for the purposes of documentation, and publicity.

·  Members entering the show are expected to help with the show by helping with entries, hanging, reception, sitting and show removal.

RECEIVING:

Tuesday, October 10th from 10 am to 2 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Parish Hall.

RELEASE:

Sunday, October 15th at 4:00 pm, NOT BEFORE. Claim checks will be required. Members are asked to pick up their work as soon after 4:00 pm as possible. Items not picked up by 5:00 pm will be charged a $20 per day storage fee.

SALES:

A 25% commission will be charged on all sales. We suggest that participating members consider pricing their work for sale, if possible.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Fill out the Entry Labels (below), cutout entry labels and attach a completed entry label to the back top left hand corner of 2D work, and on a visible place of 3D work.

The Entry From can be completed on line no later than October 8th , 2017. You may also enter in person on Tuesday, October 10th from 10 am to 2 pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Parish Hall.

Entry information may be brought to the OPAA Meeting on September 28th .
