What you shouldknow about IIAD’s All Industry Day 2012before you Arrive

Date: October 30, 2012. We listened to the feedback from our members that complained about the Thanksgiving week date, and made a move. We hope this fits with everyone’s schedules better.

Venue: Cowboys Stadium. We have rented out the field for the day. Everything will be on the field: CE Classes, luncheon, tradeshow.

Dress: Please dress casual or business casual. No heels on the field! No neckties or jackets required. This is a football stadium, so feel free to wear your favorite team’s jersey. Just please be respectful of others….if you shouldn’t be wearing the Cowboys Cheerleaders’ short shorts, then please don’t!

Parking: This is included in the cost of your admission. Please park at Entry K, Lot 10. Our Legends and Ring of Honor Sponsors get preferred VIP parking passes. We are the only event going on at the stadium, so there will be plenty of parking for all. Also, please note that you cannot roll any type of case over the entryway, due to special sensors on the floor. Boxes and rolling bags will need to be rolled in through the loading dock.

VIP Parking Passes: If you are a Legends or Ring of Honor Sponsor, you will receive your parking pass prior to the event. Entry K, Lot 10 is where you will park, and there will be attendants to collect your pass and direct you to the VIP spots.

Registration: As you come into the stadium, we will have a registration table set up with folks to greet you and assist you with your name badges. You must have a name badge to enter the field. There will be concierge throughout the stadium to direct you. Please don’t take your own self-guided tour, as the security will stop you.

Tours: Everyone that is registered should sign up for a tour time, and note when your tour starts. The tours will start at the star on the North side of the Club Lite Club “Visitors” tunnel entrance. A picture will be taken of you on the 50-yard line star and is included in your tour package. There may be a company on the field to take other pictures at your expense.

Cameras/Videos: You can take as many still pictures as you would like while at Cowboys Stadium. However, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN YOU TAKE VIDEOS. The Stadium has a very strict policy about this, and you will be asked to donate your camera and be escorted out by their security if you violate this policy.

Keynote Luncheon: Randy White, former Dallas Cowboy Legend and Hall of Famer will be our luncheon speaker. Additionally, we will be presenting our awards for Underwriter of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. The Luncheon runs from 11:30 to 1 PM. Lunch is provided for everyone attending the tradeshow.

VIP Sponsor Reception: Our Legends and Ring of Honor Sponsors will each be given one ticket to the VIP Sponsor Reception prior to the event. This will be held in the Miller Lite Club, which is directly across the field from where you came onto the field at the beginning of the day. The reception starts immediately after the luncheon and runs until 3 PM. We will have two Cowboys Cheerleaders on hand for photo opps from 1:00 to 1:30 PM.

Tradeshow: The tradeshow will open at 8 AM. It will close for lunch from 11:30 to 1:00 PM, and then will be open until 5 PM. The Cowboys Cheerleaders will be making the rounds at the tradeshow from 1:30 to 3 PM. We have over 100 exhibitors at the tradeshow.

To encourage you to visit each tradeshow booth, we will be giving away a flat screen TV in our Grand Prize drawing. To enter the drawing, just visit each booth and have the exhibitors sign off on your card that you were there. The cards will be drawn at 3:30 and the winner will be announced then. Must be present to win.

Don’t forget to vote for your favorite booth. The winner will receive a free booth at the 2013 IIAD All Industry Day.

Beverages: We will provide complimentary water and coffee service up until the luncheon. A cash bar will open at 2:30 PM in the tradeshow.

Digital Ribbon: Check out the ribbon throughout the day for sponsors’ names, the day’s agenda and award winners.
