Make learning fun
I would like too see them stop making students to speak infornt of the class ... Because I feel it conflicts with students marks because they do not put there full effort into they're assignment because they are nervous of speaking infornt of the class so some may even not do the assignment themselves and other who do do it may not put as much effort into it
Engage with the student more. Give classwork time.
Honestly I think that the teacher are doing so well . But what I would like from them was that they will let us retest if we fail a test . Also I want them to gives us more time for a big project and if we have something that going on that stop us from doing homework such as family problem they would give us more time .
Try to give better notes packages so students can study off of them(fill in the blank notes). Not give so much homework because after going to school for six hours we don't want to go home and do more homework. Understand that students have other things to do then just school work after school. And realize that other teachers are giving homework too.
Taking the time to go through students' mistakes.
GIVE MORE CHOICES! Some students learn differently than others so giving us only one way of doing an assignment is making it harder for people to succeed. Also giving students more time to do their homework because kids do have other commitments outside of school.
I would like to see my teachers give more time for work and less time spent explaining things. You learn the best from doing things not listening. Videos help a lot as we'll
Explain some of chemistry section/ units more often step by step
Giving better constructive criticism that helps you become better
Relate to students
I'd prefer more critical thinking. More questions that involve real thought, rather than right or wrong.
Engagement, being more into what we learn instead of textbooks textbookstextbooks
Not so serious all the time. Joke more have fun with it
The teachers can spend more time in the same chapter, and use like the chapter 1 and 2 together, for the same of the rest, to the people don't forget what they learned for the beginning.
I would like my teachers to be more active in learning, and engage with students on a personal level.
Put less percentage on the tests
Talk
Give us more opportunities to explore things we're interested in, and talk about it.
I want food and for them to be more respectful
Liking their job, and teach with good intention
Have more fun
Too make there happy
More explanation about the topic
Traded the
Assign more independent work but have actual class time to do it.
Extra time on harder chapters.
Play more learning games that involve the whole class
More open-ended projects where you can do whatever you feel shows your learning outcome. Also, stop trying to shove subjects and facts down our throats, the way to learn is through trial and error, teach a little bit, give an assignment on that and then from the mistakes on the assignment the learning grows. That is the learning mechanism and it's what should be more stressed and focused on, not the actual memorization on information.
Talk to kids about why their marks are low because some kids are shy and have past history of getting bad help and feeling low about themselves for asking for help from previous schools, lots of kids have things that have happened at home or can't recieve tutor help from low income.
Less projects
Nothin
Group work and make more jokes cause I like funny people
Not pick favourites or always pick on the same people

Gt involved in the class and not just give mind numbing worksheets
Assignments that are not worth marks
Be a bit more relaxed and fun. (But only to a certain point)

I like all of my teachers, so nothing.
Its really easy to learn more when the teachers explain and also interact with us like making jokes.
I would like to see me teacher give out more project.
Use of the smart boards. More digital work
Give an occasional period to have a catch up day
Visually teach
Tests
give us more time to work with friends
Understanding the students.
I would like to see teacher have more fun in the class instead of many assignments and quizzes day after day. Also I would like to see more technology in the classes
I would like to see my teachers start off class with a discussion instead of jumping right into work. Ya school is all about learning, but sometimes it's best to start us off with something to get us thinking.
I also love getting projects, instead of something you just write down and hand in. It shows way more of what you know, and it gets your creative juices flowing
I would love to see more of my teachers assigning projects because as I said before I am really good at them and find I learn a lot.
More class discussions would be nice. Mr.X is my X teacher an in his class we do a lot of discussions and debates, I find it is great way to interact with the whole class and openly expressing everyone's opinions.
To do different types of assignments instead of just boring worksheets and do more group projects and assignments
I
Getting their students involved
The staff members at LSS are good as they are.
More. Classtime to do homework
Explain more of what they're teaching, instead of handing you a booklet and saying "it's for homework"
Get to know their students better as well
Maybe explain the work more
Be enthusiastic
I would like to see the teachers play more videos in class. I would rather watch an educational film than have to listen to a lecture/lesson.
Giving us time to work on our homework in class
More projects that allow me to use my creativity to the full extent
Nothing because all my teachers are great at what they do
Let us listen to music
Be able to teach things in a different way if I don't understand it the first time
Teach >CRITICAL THINKING<
As this was my last year, it was helpful when teachers encouraged me to improve my work and incorporate 'good isn't good enough' into how they taught and marked, although, the fact was that it was my last year and this is when marks really matter and the stress levels are high. I think at a certain point, 'good isn't good enough' shouldn't be stressed to such high extents that it downgrades your final marks.
Being aware of keeping students motivated. Also allow more creativity in assignments
Become more engaged with their students learning, don't just hand out a 20 question worksheet at the beginning of the class and let your student mindlessly plug away at it
Creative assignments
Bring Tim Bits to class
I would like to see teachers get to know me better. I think that even if teachers know a little bit more about their students it gives the students a better sense of belonging, like we(students) have someone to count on. By getting to know me I mean more than just my name and if I have a job.
I don't think they need to do anything assignment wise.
.
I'd like to see teachers teach us about when we are finished with school and go on to get a job for example, how to do taxes, the correct way to invest money/save money. The only course close to teaching us that would be planning. School prepares us for post secondary but what about those who don't go to it? I find school doesn't teach us the important things in life that we need to know how to do.
Teaching how to write
They're doing fine.
Show more concern for not only students learning but also their mental and physical well being
More commitment to the class. Aspire to want to make the kids like their environment
Make tests easier and give assignments that actually help students learn.
Give us more options on how to do the assignments
Encouraging
Field trips!!!!!
I really liked all my teachers this year and think they all did a very good job of keeping me "engaged in the learning" or whatever other school-y term means I wasn't sleeping through the class.
Support other classes/participate in events
Care more. For their students. I've had teachers in the past tell the class that half of us would fail! That's not very motivating. If teachers would care more about whether their students failed or not, or gave us assignments that really got us excited, it would make school so much better.
Get up and motivate...
ways to help students improve in learning, engage more in group discussion
More practical classes than theory classes. I think we learn more
I don't know
Have more class discussions and have us interact with each other. Personally I learn better by talking not just reading an article and writing an essay.
One on one teaching with other students.
Give us different ways to show we understand a concept other than just taking a cut-and-dry test, or giving a mindless PowerPoint presentation. More individual/research-based assignments
Teach
Letting you choose your own material
Give more freedom on assignments
Try to relate to students more
More videos, presentation, and teconlgey
Give more worksheet rather then assignments
Joke around
I'd like to ask teachers to ask more questions to their students to help them to engage in the class.
I would like too see the teachers encourage me a little more in school
Be funny and laid back it makes it less stressful
Projects (posters)
Make classes funner
Discuss ideas about the subject.
help
Act like they aren't all high and mighty
Unsure, maybe some homework that feels like it's worth doing. Sometimes give more detail of instructions for some homework (eg. What they really want to see). Give more feedback / better detail.
Activities
Less presentations, putting in groups, find more exciting ways of doing things rather than just talking. Make people who talk loud quiet down. It is difficult to learn in a loud class
Explain what we're working on better.
Have a better understanding of students
I would like my teachers to have tissue boxes in their classrooms and have a way of going to the washroom where you don't have to awkwardly raise your hand to ask where people can hear that you want to go to the washroom like maybe write your name on the board or take some sort of collateral thing
Check the answer carefully
Give us more practice and don't mark homework because it is practice and it shouldn't b marked
More group stuff
They are all doing fine
Engage with students and not favouratize unless it's me
More one on one help as well as more TIME
Be exciting
Put us with our friends working on projects instead of doing them by ourselves
In class discussions.
Let us learn how we want to and not force us to learn a certain way. Schedule assignments in a way so we are not over worked or stressed.
Give less work
Get to know their students more and know how to get them to learn
Doing projects
Make jokes
See is students are getting bullied to stop the bulling
Help more
Have fun and be interactive and explain why we use the things we learn
Maybe something that is a little bit more up to date like in s.s. And sci.
Understand how long it takes for me to do my assignment
Do fun stuff at times
I would like them to explain topics & assignments better, stay in the classroom for the majority of the class in case I need help on my work, have a lesson plan for a week or two in advance in case I will be away and stick to it, teach everything that will be on the test, and be more interesting (interested in the topic they're teaching).
Speak to me more..
Crack jokes be fun
Do fun assignments
I don't know
I would like to see my teachers step out of their comfort zone and try not to stick with the same kind of teaching everyday of the semester. Teach their students in a more outgoing and visual way.
Joke around
Have more fun in class and not to be as serious and strict as a few if them are
Difficult assignments to demonstrate learning a opposed to tests.
Less homework. Not no homework, just less.
Be nice
I would like to see my teachers to care about students who are bulling to someone
One on one teaching
Personalized assignments, individual assignments, less notes, more showing what I learn than copying down stuff I'll forget
Being more connected and explain things better (especially math)
I would like if they made classes more engaging
Let kids work on projects together, and use their phones if they are done their work or have been working hard.
To try and have some more one on one time with the students
Go slow , actually explain the work ,
I don't know
Kind
group work
Interactive learning, new teaching methods.
More fun worksheets
Assihnmesnts
They do there jobs just fine
There doing a good job. I'm just hard to interest into stuff.
Leave students alone
Hands on. Debates
In class group work and hands on work in academic classes.
Extra credit assignments
More time to reflect on the chapter after the notes part of the class
Let us pick our groups and give an array of assignments, maybe you have a choice of a couple and not one mandatory one.
More after school sessions and lunch time sessions.
Ask us how we are that day, ask us how our other classes are going, joke around with us, keep us updated with our marks (weekly)
Class discussions
Try and make an effort to actually care about students. Not be ok with failing them or giving students no chances to get your mark up
Take their time to make sure every person in the class fully understands.
To be more interactive
More teacher-student interactions when teaching. Giving more insight on a topic than what can be provided by the textbook.More notes given by teachers to students ( fill in the blanks, while the teacher shows what to fill in on the projector) instead of just the students taking notes directly from the textbook. Ensuring that the students fully understand the topic and learn from it.
Show different examples of how to understand concepts because everyone has different ways of learning and retaining information.
Let you have different options to demonstrate your learning
Fun Fridays
I would like to see more inter mural sports at lunch. Like a bigger Variety. More in class assignments
Give us more time on homework, I have an after school life that I have to attend to like soccer and I want to focus on that too. Homework tends to get in the way and doesn't allow me to reach my potential and dreams in athleticism. Less homework or more time to do it! Make school longer or something I don't care. But having school so rushed I don't learn the material for very long even though I am over 90% in every class..
