Brochure description

Artist pastels are a versatile and exciting medium which come in a full range of colours from strong tones to the palest hues. Pastels lend themselves easily to expressing the mood of a piece, and react quickly to the artist's thought process making them particularly suitable for landscape painting. Pastels are an exciting medium to use in combination with other media, particularly for working on top of watercolour/gouache and over monoprints.
This course aims to give you a thorough grounding in pastel techniques and lead you on through a series of studies to work confidently and creatively on your own project ideas.
