From the PRESIDENT’S PEN
The May 19th meeting will be an entertaining fund raiser at Canal Clothing. Rita Day, Wanda King, and Anita Prescott have teamed together to bring us a style show and luncheon for the great price of $20.00 per person. LHRW will also receive 10% of any purchases you or your guests make that day! How ‘bout that for raising money for our fabulous candidates? Be thinking about a new spring or summer outfit, some new accessories to uplift last year’s fashion, or maybe a gift for someone special. It will be a fun afternoon starting at 11:30 AM. Ask your friends or family to join you on May 19th and send a check made out to LHRW to: Rita Day, 9627 Arborhill Drive, Dallas, TX 75243 by May 17.
We have been asked to help with Wade Emmert’s and Danny Clancy’s campaigns. There are several clubs joining forces to help out in these important races. We also added Trenton Nichols running for County Court at Law #5 and David Lewis running for judge of the 194th Judicial District to our “most favorite candidates to get elected”. We hope to have Trenton and David introduce themselves at our May 19th meeting.
