Set: Friday 3rd November
Due: Wed 15th November / Miss Edwards’ maths group:
LO: Number facts. / LO: To write an informal letter.
We are currently learning how to write an informal letter using different writing techniques.
For this task we would like you to write a letter to your class teacher. In this letter we would like you to explain (from your viewpoint):
  • what you think about school and what you like (with examples) and
  • What lessons have you enjoyed (with examples)
  • Any ‘niggles’ you may have.
  • Any advice you may have.
Some ideas/examples:
I am writing this letter to explain my views on class 3LE. Firstly, I would like to tell you that I love being in year 3 and feel happy in my classroom. I have already enjoyed lots of fun lessons and I have learnt A LOT. I am excited to learn more throughout this year.
Although I have lots of positive things to say, I have one issue……Miss Edwards, your memory is awful! We always have toremind you about things. I really think you need to carry a notebook around with you all the time to write things down!
I really hope you take my advice.
From your very intelligent pupil, Bob.
