What is available after PR where you work?

The current remote pulmonary rehabilitation (PR)Tele-health Project is currently trying to map out existing options of support once participants have finished pulmonary rehab.

  • Did have NHS led class, but this hasn’t continued due staffing; one Technical Instructor is going on Wright Foundation Course in September, so aim is to have her doing class in Leisure Centre from October; would be NHS led.

  • Limited provision by Fife Council exercise ref. for mild-moderate COPD. Glenrothes/Cupar area only.
  • Midlothian currently soon to be handed to Mid Council. East Lothian maintenance to commence shortly. E.L. walking group commencing once weekly on 3rd June. Midlothian Council soon to start ‘MAC’ classes at various levels at various venues.
  • Local gyms, including Aqua gym. Active for Life. Over 50’s/Elderobics.
