Dear Parent/ Guardian,

The Henry County Library is excited to partner with the Clinton School District to provide free electronic e-library cards to Clinton students.

What is an electronic E-Library Card?

All Clinton High School students will now be able to use their student ID numbers to log on to educational databases provided by the library. Their student ID card numbers operate in place of a traditional library card but only allow access to online materials. Student ID numbers cannot be used to check-out physical library materials. This service provides students access to educational electronic materials without students having to worry about keeping track of physical materials or incurring any fines for late items.

What databases will the students have access to?

The databases that the students will have access to can be found on the library’s Homework Help web-site:

http://henrycolib.org/?q=homework

The databases are:

Responsibility for the student’s use of electronic materials rests with the parent or guardian. The library and the Clinton School District are not responsible for the material that is accessed.

If you DO NOT wish for your student to have an electronic e-library card you can opt your student out of the program by filling out the information below and turning it in to Suzanne Bush at the Clinton High School Library by Tuesday, Jan 30th. Failure to turn in this form will be taken as consent to set your child up with a free electronic e-card.

I DO NOT wish my student to have an electronic library e-card.
