What if my child wants to stop having lessons?

You must give half a term’s notice in writing to your child’s instrumental teacher if she or he wants to stop having lessons. If you fail to do this, you will be charged an extra half term’s fees.

Where can I get an instrument?

We have a limited number of instruments for hire at Saint Cecilia’s. The rate is £15-£20 per term. Parents must insure the instrument before it can be taken home. Other suppliers will be advised if we do not have enough in school. (Please note that pianos, keyboards, drumkits and guitars are not available for hire. Pupils learning the piano must have access to a piano or keyboard at home).

When and where will the lessons take place?

They will take place during the school day and also after school.

What type of lesson is right for my child?

Shared lessons:

  • Ideal for beginners
  • Lessons cost less
  • Children can progress to individual lessons at a later stage
