The VFW National Home for Children's mission is to provide children, youths, and families of veterans, active-duty military, and members of the VFW and its Auxiliary opportunities for growth and development in a nurturing community, and by doing so, serves as a living memorial to all veterans.
Did you know…The Department of New Hampshire VFW sponsors a house on campus of the National Home. There is currently a family living in the home …mother, father and 5 children. Our New Hampshire house won 1st place as the best Christmas decorated house!

Hero is easy…….there is no minimum dollar commitment and you can stop at any time! Monthly giving is a simple, secure and convenient way to
How it works:
- You determine the amount of your monthly donation.
- You choose to use your credit card, debit card or checking/savings account.
- On the first, fifth, or fifteenth of each month (your choice), we deduct your gift from the card or account you specify.
- Each January, we send you an annual giving statement for tax purposes.
- You can call 866-483-9642 or email us to increase, decrease or suspend your gift at any time.
- Just visit vfwnationalhome.org/hero, call 866-483-9642 or complete a form.
The National Home sent or will be sending an appeal to all Posts Quartermasters and VFW Auxiliary Treasurers for a campus-wide Emergency Communications System.
This system will include:
