What: CSCA Championships

When: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 19th, 20th, and 21st, 2017

Where: Mountain View Aquatic Center, Marietta, Georgia

Times: Diving- Thursday, Jan. 19th @ Central; 3pm warm-ups; 4:30pm start

Friday, Jan. 20th; 3pm warm-up and 5pm start for County Prelims

Saturday, Jan. 21st; 4pm warm-up and 6pm start for County Finals

Entries

-Send all entries to Jonathan Laird at . These are due NO LATER than 9:00pm on Wednesday, Jan. 18th

-YOU MUSTdo your entries on the Hy-Tek meet file on the link that Jon will send you. You must use this file. It will also tell you your cost and please make sure you print out a meet entry report. Email Jon if you have any problems.

-Make sure all your swimmers have a Cobb County qualifying time.

-Also, the meet is being sanctioned by USA Swimming as well, so YOU MUST put your USS swimmers id number in your entries to get a credited time. This will not be done at the meet, it is up to you. Any questions, call Jonathan.

-Also, make sure your relays names are in the meet, if you need to change before the meet, it can be done at that time.

Diving

-This is an 11- dive championship meet. The diving sheets will be due to me at the time the athlete shows up at the facility.Divers don’t need waste time on Thursday with diving sheets. NO DIVE SHEETS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 4PM. Any questions or concerns, contact me ASAP.

-Open Warm-up will be from 3:00pm to 4:00pm; girls will warm-up from 4:00pm to 4:30 and start at 4:30. Boys will begiven 30 minutes after the girls finish to warm-up and then will start.

Costs

-Based on the number of participants. Jon will send you the amount.

-Make checks payable to the CSCA.

Swimmers

-Each swimmer may swim a MAXIMUM of four (4) events for the weekend. This can either be in 3 relays and 1 individual event or 2 relays and 2 individual events.

Warm-up and Workers Schedule

-This will be sent out next week. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Friday warm-ups will be scheduled, but Saturday will be open.

There will also be a full concession stand for swimmers and spectators on both Friday and Saturday night.

Food Tables

-None are allowed on deck. They must be put on the back porch behind the pool.

Team Areas

-We will put up the team areas at the pool. If you have a desired area, first to tell me gets first pick, although spots that teams generally have at the championships will not change.

Medals

-Medals will be given out again this year, except we will give them out after the race is over and no dq’s are confirmed. If you have a swimmer place in the top three please tell him to stay in the water or at his block to receive his medal after his swim.
