Step 2: Analyze the Data
  1. What are overall strengths?
  • 80% of Heritage TBTs are in Progressing and Full Implementation
  • First grade moved from Progressing to Full Implementation in organization
  • Second grade went from Progressing to Full Implementation in Step 3 and Step 5

  1. What is/are the area/s and locations of highest need?
  • Second grade went from Full to Progressing in Step 2
  • Kindergarten went from Full to Progressing in Step 3 and 4

  1. Is there a trend?
  • Mrs. Barker stated she disagreed with some of the designations the TBTs ranked themselves
  • BLT members felt like the weather and sub shortages has affected TBT this year

  1. Prioritize needs for next step.
  • Mrs. Barker asked the BLT members to go back and discuss with their teammates why each area was marked. TBTs should cite evidence and next steps to increase implementation. She wants BLT members to be prepared to share out during the next BLT meeting.
  • Mrs. Barker is looking into changing the TBT schedule for next year so the same grade levels do not always miss due to holidays and weather.

Step 3: Plan Support Strategies
  1. As the Building Leadership Team, what strategies will we use to support the TBTs needs?
  • BLT members will discuss TBT rubric again during TBT time. They will discuss evidence of implementation and next steps to improve implementation.

  1. Determine length and frequency of strategies.
  • BLT members will report back on April 13th at BLT meeting.

  1. What support / training is needed?
  • Mrs. Barker and Mrs. Barhorst will support staff during TBTs in discussion during weekly TBT 40 minutes.

  1. How will we know that the support provided is making improvement and what will be our post-assessments?
  • The discussion will help TBTs dig deeper when being self-reflective of their TBT, as well as give more thought to how to get to the next level.

Step 4: Implement
How will we know that the support strategies are being implemented?
  • Reporting out during BLT meeting on April 13, 2015.

Step 5: Evaluate
1.What was our level of implementation? Fully , Partially , Not at All .
2.What we learned (Successes and Obstacles)
3.Our recommendation: (Continue with this strategy for…, Get additional PD, Abandon, Select alternative, Adapt)
4. Where are we in relation to our goal of 100% of our Staff Will Implement TBTs with Fidelityby Spring 2015?
