3.Acceptance of WMHA Annual Meeting Minutes – APRIL 27, 2017 (Page 2) motion to accept as amended by BarryBarsness and seconded by DaveKnipfel carried
4.Acceptance of Executive Reports as presented (Page 3-12) motion by NormMcfadden and Seconded by Ryan Birnie. carried

a) AP in Atom and Novice – Don Bourassa –would like to see the program back and limit the teams to a minimum player of 10 skaters and a goalie. The AP’s would be only used to bring the numbers up to this. Stated that other communities do this as normal process. Would help with sick and vacationing families. Would think this would be helpful to the coaches and planning. Increasing the number on each team would assist in this.
Policing this would be taxing. Making the punishment harsh by loosing the ability to have any AP.
Don Bourassa asks that an AP program be implemented for the 2018- 2019 season.
Mike Tyhe will write up a proposal for the board,
b) Upcoming SHA changes - Gary Goudy
Boyshockey –AA bantams stays the same with north and south but will not be going to westerns. Atom AA will go to North and South as well
Female changes will drop the numbers of teams and all communities will have to apply for teams. The Bantam females will not be able to play midget, unless they have applied for elite status. This will form Bantam AA teams in most regions.
The meeting is in Stoughton in March. If we sit and wait, WMHA will lose out on all programs.
Nikki Dickie motions that a sub-committee needs to be made to make proposals to move forward. Seconded by Kelly Gervias. Nominiatedcommittee members of Jackie Williams, Chad Kish, Brian Fleck, Niki Dickie, Todd Neubergerand the 2 div heads Ryan Swayze, and Stu Goranson. Carried
Memory asks that the midgets are reminded to wear their neck guards.
