Championship 2005
Thank you for entering the 2005 Club Championship. This year we hope that the Championship will be bigger and better as we progress into our 2nd year, this year we have decided to divide the Championship further at the beginning of the year and also divide out the points within those categories.
Points for Senior, Junior and ladies shall be as follows:
1st in class home50 points6th in class home25 points
2nd in class home45 points7th in class home20 points
3rd in class home40 points8th in class home15 points
4th in class home35 points9th in class home10 points
5th in class home30 pointsall other competitors will get 5 points
For example if you are a senior and junior competitor competing in the same car this does not mean that you shall receive the same points. If your car finishes an event in fifth place then the points shall go like this:
Senior driver is the 5th senior to finish in his class so he shall receive 30 points. If the navigator is a junior competitor and they are the 3rd junior to finish in that class they shall receive 40 points, the same applies to the ladies if the lady is the first lady to finish in that class she shall receive 50 points.
It is very important to fill in the correct category in which you are entering in your entry form otherwise mistakes may be made in points being allocated. It is not the Committee’s responsibility to check that you have entered the correct category.

Points only count from date of registration for the Club Championship. As last year, 2 scores shall be dropped at the end of the year these will consist of either your lowest scores or non-competed events, and it is this final score which shall count at the end of the year.
We would like to say at this point to our entrants that if you are dropping any of the events above that you should make this known to the Wexford Motor Club Committee and make yourself available to help in the safe running of that event.
