Westosha Girls Youth Basketball Tournament

Date: Sunday, February 25, 2018

Entry Fee:$175 per team ($165 per team if your organization sends 2 or more teams) - Please send a check payable to Westosha Youth Basketball Club along with the attached registration and team roster information form.

Location: Westosha Central High School – 8 miles west of I-94 in Kenosha County

Format:3 game guarantee. All teams will either play in the morning or afternoon session.

Rules:All W.I.A.A. rules will be followed with the following modifications:

1. Two 18-minute halves with running clock. Clock will stop the last 2 minutes of each half. There will be a running clock in last two minutes of the game if a team is ahead by 20 or more points.
2. First overtime will be 3 minutes in duration. If the game is tied after first overtime, the second overtime is sudden death (first point wins).
3. Five minute halftime
4. One full and one 30 second timeout per half (one 30 second in overtime).
5. Teams cannot press when ahead by 15 points or more.
6. Coaches, players and fans are expected to show courtesy and demonstrate good sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Anyone unable to follow these guidelines will be asked to leave.
7. No protests allowed, official’s decisions are final.
8. 4th/5th Grades – press only in last two minutes of each half and all of overtime.
9. Teams must furnish own balls for warm-ups.
10. All teams must provide a scorekeeper for each game.

Eligibility:This is a tournament for feeder teams – those associated with one high school.

Awards:The top teams at each grade level will be awarded individual awards.

Concessions:Provided at the tournament. Please, no carry-ins.
