______earned his BachelorsDegree in Special Education from Ohio University. He has a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He initially received his Special Education Administrator, K-12 Principal, and School Superintendent administrative certificates from Providence College in Providence Rhode Island. He has a doctoral degree from the University of Vermontin Educational Leadership and School Administration. He was the first Vermont School Administrator to ever be appointed to both state and national level Vermont Disabilities Councils (by former VT Governor Madeline Kunin). He was one of ten Vermont Educators who wrote the first VT State Technology Plan (appointed by former Governor Howard Dean / most recently the US Democratic Party Chairman). ______has assisted 100+ post-graduate studentsin the completion of their doctoral dissertations. He is regarded as an “expert witness” for court-litigated education cases. He has remodeled schools and built whole new school facilities. He has 30+ years in public education; 14 years of those as a Special Education Director, School Principal, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, and College Professor in Vermont. He was named one of the top 100 US Superintendents in the USA in 1993 (Dean and Clinton). He was nominated and was a finalist for two state-level Commissioner of Education posts in Ohio and in Vermont. He has improved the standardized test scores (national and state-level) in every school district where he has been employed. He was Vermont’s first State Information Technologist (1995-1996) and recently received a state-level Arts Award (2006) from Vermont Governor James Douglas for his role in building Vermont’s (and New England’s) largest elementary school orchestra and band.Upon retirement from the United States, ______was an Elementary School Principal at the American International School of Jeddah beginning in 2007. After this unique and wonderful international experience was completed in 2009, ______became the Superintendent of Schools at the Thai-Chinese (American) International School in Bangkok, Thailand where he worked through August of 2014. He is currently a Superintendent Consultant and works opening and improving new international schools in various countries. Much of his international consulting work centers on many aspects of USA accreditation. He and his wife Patricia have five children who have all graduated from college and are living/working in the USA. ______continues to reside in Thailand with his wife Patricia and commutes around the globe to work.
