Keiser University’s West Palm Beach Campus Celebrated Spring Commencement

Nearly 300 students joined Mayor Muoio in recognition of their graduation

West Palm Beach, FL –May 21, 2014— Throughout May and June, approximately 5,000 Keiser University graduates statewide will cross stages signifying completion of their college degrees and the beginning of the next chapter in their professional lives. Last Friday, 300 West Palm Beach campus students celebrated their commencement ceremony at the Palm Beach County Convention Center with City of West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio serving as keynote speaker. Royal Palm Beach resident Kristopher Donegan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and was named Valedictorian.

”Keiser University has been serving Florida for nearly 40 years, graduating tens of thousands of students prepared to make an immediate impact in the workforce and as leaders in their communities,” said Belinda Keiser, Vice Chancellor of Community Relations and Student Advancement. “We are so proud of their accomplishments and we know these graduates will join their Keiser University alumni family in service to their communities and within their chosen professions,” she added.

“We were honored to have Mayor Muoio share this proud day which celebrated the graduates’ journey with family members, staff and faculty,” said Kimberly Lea, campus president.

Keiser University’s West Palm Beach campus has been serving the community for over 10 years. Located at 2085 Vista Parkway, the campus supports 800 students pursuing doctoral through associate degrees in over 90 career fields.
