**BRIGADES’ DEVELOPMENT
The Brigades will re-start in September. Both Boys and Girls will then meet on a Tuesday evening: Years 1-6 (both boys and girls) 6:30 - 7:45pm
Years 7-13 (initially, only the girls) from 7:30 - 8:45pm.
We have joined the boys in with the girls as it makes it much easier to do games together. Badge work will be done separately using the church and the hall. We now have enough leaders to do this. Ali is hoping to go into the schools in the first week of term with some new flyers to generate more interest again. We currently have 23 girlsbut only 4 boys. We are hoping that by merging boys with the girls this may increase. Ali.

WELLSPRING PRAYER CONCERNS AT THE MOMENT
Please remember the following before God in your daily prayers:
1. Our need for a full-time Minister: that God will guide us to the person of his choosing – and prepare that person for the task of leading Wellspring at this time of unrepeatable opportunity;
2. Our vision for an enlarged building and our planning for more appropriate spaces for the flexible programme of church and community activities that God is leading us to develop;
3. Our concern to encourage a rich and nourishing worship life that will ‘ring bells’ for an increasingly varied group of people – younger and older, local and newcomer, new and established believers, ‘tasters’ and regulars.
4. Our deep desire to reach out to those not associated with church life – to demonstrate that Christ is the Man for all Seasons – and well able to make Himself intelligible and at home in the Wirksworth community.
5. Our work together with other churches and agencies in Wirksworth through whom God is already at work bringing challenge to the unaware – and help and healing to those in need.
