WELL DONE AND WELCOME!
Firstly we’d like to say well done to all the children who took part in our
Halloween Spooktacular! You were all amazing and we are very proud of you all. Also thankyou for being so well behaved on our recent trip to see Aladdin. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
We’d also like to welcome our new members, and are sure our existing members will make them feel at home.
PANTOMIME
We are now starting rehearsal for January’s pantomime, where we integrate with the adult section of our group. As always, children are asked to provide black shoes they can dance in (jazz shoes preferably) and black socks.
There are five performances, so we have split the younger members into two groups so they don’t have to do every show! The groups and dates are below. If you can see any issues with these, please let us know asap so we can try and shuffle things around for you.
Dates
Technical Rehearsal = Sunday 7th January, 12-6pm (Group A & C)
Dress Rehearsal = Tuesday 9th January, 5:30-8:30pm (Groups B & C)
Performances = Wednesday 10th January, arrive at 6:30pm (Groups A & C)
Thursday 11th January, arrive at 5pm (Groups B & C)
Friday 12th January, arrive at 6:30pm (Groups A & C)
Saturday 13th January Matinee performance, arrive at 1:30pm (Groups A & C)
Evening performance, arrive at 6:30pm (Groups B & C)

MERSEA LIGHTS UP
We are joining the procession again this year for Mersea’s Lights Up celebrations. (No performance on stage this year). This is on Friday 1st December. We will be meeting at the MICA to get changed at 6:30pm, and then joining the procession, starting from outside Tesco at 7pm. They will need collection at around 7:30pm. We will provide all costumes, but you may want to dress them in a warm ‘base layer’ as it will be chilly!
Any added tinsel/sparkle/Christmas accessories are very much encouraged!
