WHAT: NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR

WHEN: SUNDAY, MARCH 17, 2013

WHERE: THE PARK (FORMERLY MERCHANDISE MART)

INDEPENDENCE BOULEVARD

VOLUNTEER: WORK IN SHIFTS (SHIFT “A”: 11:30 – 2:00 or “B”: 1:30 – 4:00)

Duties – hospitality, greetings, workshop assistants, others as needed

Please be advised that duties will be assigned at the time of your volunteer shifts. An email will be sent to the volunteers closer to the date of the event with more details.

NEW: Volunteer for the Workday at Hinds Feet Farm this Saturday, February 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Due to bad weather, the Workday at Hinds Feet Farm has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.!

NEW: Mother/Son Night at Blythe Elementary

Date & Location: Friday, March 15th, 2013 at Blythe Elementary

Arrive at 4:00 pm and be at the Blythe until 8:30 pm.

The theme is Carnival night with a magic show.

Students will be helping with registration, carnival stations and the assisting the photographer.

Looking for 5 North Meck students to meet for 1.5 hours each week to go through a curriculum that includes identifying an issue present in the Davidson community, research the issue (locally, but also nationally/globally if necessary), design an event that would address the issue, plan the event, and then implement the event.
