Welcome to the 2016-17 School Year.
Tanglen’s PTO exists because of parents/caregivers, teachers and staff that care about engaging and empowering families within the community to advocate for learning and development. Throughout the year, the PTO sponsors multiple activities and raises funds in the community. Our self-funded PTO helps us plan, budget, and work together on:
- Supporting the school curriculum, classrooms and student experiential learning
- Building relationshipsamongst teachers, staff, students andfamilies within the community
- Raisingapproximately $30,000 on an annual basis
As a parent/caregiver of a Tanglen student, you are automatically a member of the Tanglen PTO. We are made up of all of our parents/caregivers and teachers who dedicate their time and talents to helping Tanglen through respective collaboration, thoughtful leadership and creative ideas. Thequality of our PTO programs depends on your support, volunteerism, and leadership.
We look forward to meeting you at a PTO meeting atTanglenin the Media Center from 6:30-8:00pm. There is childcare at no charge.
