Welcome to the 2017 season of the Cazenovia Lakeside Park boat launch. Your permit application is enclosed.
The launch will operate daily from April 29th through September 4thfrom 6:30 am until 8:00 pm. Between Labor Day and Columbus Day, the launch will operate on Fridays and weekends from 6:30 am until 6:30 pm. The launch will close for the season on October 9th, however, the launch will be open for boat removal only on Saturday October 14th and 21th from 9 am to 12 noon.
All seasonal boat removals in 2017 must be completed by the launch closure on October 9th or on the two subsequent Saturday mornings. Failure to comply will result in a $30 fee to open the launch.
Late season permits will be available for $40 beginning July 31 and are available through the Village office.
Midweek daily permits will be available on Non-Holiday Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays beginning at 10 am for $10, subject to availability of an open visitor parking space. Daily permits are available at the launch from the lake stewards upon completion of an application and presentation of a valid NYS driver’s license.
All craft will undergo invasive species inspections prior to launching as part of our continued efforts to control invasive species in Cazenovia Lake. Per the latest NYSDEC guidance, outbound inspections will be performed as well. This year we will continue to ensure that all baitfish are certified. Please keep your receipts for 10 days as is required by NYS law.
