Golden Key of the USA Music Festival

Application Instructions – 2018

1.  Fill out relevant information on the application form. If you are submitting for more than five performers, use page three for as many other pages as you need. Be sure to include the total fees for all pages in the TOTAL FEES FROM ALL PAGES field at the bottom of the form (page 2). Deadline is February 1, 2018.

•  Teacher: Select “Yes” if you are the teacher of the listed Performer(s).

•  Age: The age of performer at the submission deadline (February 1, 2018).

•  Years in Festival: Consecutive years participating in the festival, including 2018.

•  Title: Provide full title, including opus, number.

•  Instrument/Type: Piano, Violin, Cello, Voice, etc. / Solo, Duet, Trio, etc.

•  Audition Method: Select the method you will be using to audition:

-  DVD: You will be mailing a DVD of a recorded performance of the selection by the performer. DVDs must be playable on a standard US region DVD player (NTSC format). Please be sure to enclose a photo-copy of the music score performed and to write the performer's full name on the disc.

-  Email: You will be emailing a recorded video performance of the selection in a digital format compatible with a Windows-based computer, e.g. .wmv, .mpeg, .mp4 to

-  Live: You will be attending the live audition session on the date and at the location(s) listed below. In this case, you should bring the published music score to the audition and hand it to the judges. Using photocopied music for the live audition is prohibited by copyright law and may result in the disqualification of the participant. Please, indicate the desired location:

•  Application Fee: Enclose a check made out to Golden Key Music Festival for the relevant application fee(s). Note: All fees are non-refundable.
