WELCOME TO MY WEB PAGE
A TEACHER IS SOMEONE WHO IS ENTRUSTED TO….
Open
Doors
Which open
Possibilities
To the world
Stones and Bricks by themselves
Cannot become cathedrals.
This is me, early on cold morning in a SCAD computer lab, learning to write HTML, or so I think.
I am currently employed as THE Art Teacher at Halifax High School, Halifax, Pennsylvania which is near the Susquehanna River. We are a rural school with about 350 students. We will be on the internet this year, so watch for our website.
I am obnoxiously proud of my two most unique creations, Scott Gregory, a sophomore at Harvard University, and Corey Ann, a freshman at Wellesley College. Boston will never by the same with the two of them in town next year.
I am one of those people who never want to get out of school, which is probably why I chose to become a teacher. For the past 15 years, I have taught as a certified teacher in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania…so far. Although I have a BA from New Paltz State University, New Paltz, New York and an MA from Columbia University, New York, New York, I am now taking classes at Penn State Harrisburg in everything I always wanted to know. Check out my WEBQUEST, which is a result of several courses I have taken this year about the Holocaust and in web design.
I am a nomad at heart. My camera and I have wandered through Europe, India, Israel, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan and the United States and Canada by plane, train, bus, cart, camel, motorhome and normal car.
My long range goals are to raft the Grand Canyon, visit China and Japan, live in Italy for awhile to experience the magnificent art and to publish a children's book.
