Treasurer’s Report-Robin

Update:

MustangWear: Gross income $1605.00, missing 11 pieces so no bill until we get those.

Ad sales: So far only $775, does not include Music&Arts ($300) or two quarter page ads ($150 total). Robin will confer with Mary Lou on spreadsheet of who paid and what is expected to come in. May need to do parent ad sales in the last program to bolster this.

Bowling income came in from last year accounted into misc. income.

PO Box fee paid - $100 – increased $4 over last year (budgeted amount)

Northshore Jazz Festival fee payed.

Band President’s Report

Honor band conflict so no student rep this meeting.

Band Director’s Report-Andy Robertson

T-shirt design winner was Maxwell Ji. Still finalizing design.

First concert next week, featuring all bands.

WE at PLU on Nov 23. Transportation is on your own. Students report at noon. Concert is 3-4:30 pm.

Nov 28th Northshore Jazz Festival.

Entered top jazz band into Central WA Jazz festival in May.

Small pit band is practicing.

Still looking for trip options for the band. Looking into trip to Canada – possibly Whistler performance, or UBC clinic?? Would be looking for a trip in early/mid April. Last weekend in April is a conflict with solo/ensemble, also need to avoid AP testing at the beginning of May and weekend after Memorial Day weekend.

BBQ/Tailgates: Robin Schaeperkoetter-Leonard

Pasta went really well – ready to go early. Complements from students – compared favorably to cross-country pasta feed. Need to avoid peanut sauce!Logistically the burger tailgate is much more difficult – burgers need to arrive a bit earlier. Should consider coming up with a different menu for easier logistics. Sub night? Pizza tailgate will be next Thursday – pizza already ordered from Garlic Jim’s ($8.50/pie, 25 pies). Taco tailgate will be on Halloween.

Can we change volunteer request form to include “Tailgate Coordinator”?
