Adult Trips and Senior News

Adult Winter Dayz, January 18

Break up the winter blahs with a fun day! Meet at the church at 11 a.m., go to lunch at Twenty, return to the church for 50’s music, fellowship, board games, puzzles and exercise! Cost: $11 includes lunch, transportation, and afternoon snack.

We’re planning a Baby Dedication for Sunday, January 22, 2012. This will be “Sanctity of Life” Sunday – what a perfect time to dedicate your newborn, toddler, child to the Lord! Contact Sandy Davis as soon as possible if you would like to participate!

Simply Christmas Offering. If you would like to participate in this year-end giving opportunity, a special offering will be taken on Sunday, December 18. Gifts to Simply Christmas will help fund these areas:

Missions – 40% will go toward our mission goals to helplocal organizations and around the world.

General fund – 40% will support the vibrant ministry at WFC.

Benevolent fund – 10% will go to our fund that helps families in need.

Special projects – 10% will go to special projects such as Hope 85 Clinic, and renewing sound and lighting equipment in our services.

Our goal is to raise $56,000 with the Simply Christmas Offering.
