Weigh-ins: 7:30 - 9:00 am Wrestling starts at: 10:00 am

This is a round robin tournament. Wrestlers will be paired in groups of 3-4 and everyone will wrestle at least 2-3 times.

*All Participants will receive a 3 inch Medal.

*$12.00 Entries must be postmarked by Wednesday, February 8, 2012.

*The Tournament brackets are set up on Friday night (February 10, 2012) @ 6:00 pm

*Permission slips must be signed by parents or guardian.

*No Walk-in Entries will be accepted Sunday Morning.

Weight classes:

* Weight classes will be decided after all entries are received, you must be within 3 lbs. of your entry weight. Anyone exceeding their entered weight by more than 3 lbs must forfeit, no exceptions. Any sixth grader who is 14 years old must compete in the senior division. We will not keep individual match scores in the Jr. Cadet Division.

RULES

1. Entry blanks must be postmarked on or before Wednesday, February 8, 2012.

2. The weight on the entry form shall be actual weight. Weigh-ins will be held at the tournament site beginning at 7:30 am and will be closed at 9:00 am for all divisions. If a boy does not arrive by weigh-in time, he will be considered absent. Wrestling will start at 10:00 am.

3. Weight brackets will be established upon receipt of the entry forms. Round Robin brackets will be used. Seeding will be arranged so that boys from the same school will not meet until absolutely necessary.

4. Matches will consist of 3-one minute periods, overtime criteria will be (1 minute Tie breaker, 30 sec. Sudden Victory. Decisions of the judges will be final. All matches will conducted under I.H.S.A.A. rules. Use of headgear, which will be optional. Participants will be disqualified for swearing, throwing headgear, and unsportsmanlike conduct.

5. No school equipment.

6. When a participation is not on deck, or wrestling, he is expected to be seated in the bleachers until called. Entrants are asked not to run in and out of the building. Do not sit on the stage and stay behind the roped area.

7. Lockers will be available. Participants will be responsible for any lost items, so bring a bag with your name on it for clothing and take it to the bleachers with you.

8. NO coolers are allowed in the gymnasium.

9. There will be no exceptions to these rules.
