One Book One Community
On behalf of the One Book One Community Committee I would like to acknowledge and thank the Town of Books Committee for their very generous donation towards the cost of running our community reading initiative. The support and generosity of Town of Books means that our costs for the launch have been covered and we can also organise an enjoyable educational experience for students in Duiske College, Scoil Mhuire gan Smál and Boy’s National School with the wider community of Graignamanagh.
Everybody is invited to join with our three schools, the library and Graignamanagh Brass Band for the launch by Nicola Pierce, the author of our chosen book “Spirit of the Titanic” on Thursday January 12th at 12.00 noon in Graignamanagh Library. Ms Pierce will also present a talk and presentation on the Titanic at 3pm in the library.

Mernagh Academy of Irish Dancing: Classes resume on Thursday 12th January at 3.20pm to 4.20pm. New pupils welcome to enrol.

The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 22 and 26 and there was no winner. Consolation winners of €30 each were Kay Doyle, Justin Doran, Johnny Meadows, Siobhan Butler & Rose Lawless.

Graignamanagh GAA Club extends sympathy to Lee Kinsella his mother Ann, his brothers & Sisters on the death of his father Jim R.I.P. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
