Reports:

  • Chair Report–Co Chair– Went to civypaa’s event and got a couple of pre-regs, they may be interested in bidding if they do not get wackypaa. Spoke to Backypaa about cohosting. Went to a meeting in Fullerton, for OC young people, they are bidding for swackypaa. They will be coming down with 2 cars full for the April event. Socalipaa will also be cohosting the event in April.Missed the accypaa prom for personal reasons. We have someone doing outreach in AZ who is all setup with forms and the square account.
  • TreasureCo–Got some regs at the corn beef and cribbage event. To break even we need about 220 more. We are about at $4526.
  • Sec- & Co – Outreach in Carson for women’s and regular meeting.
  • Bylaws – Nothing new
  • Outreach – Picking up. Got 7 pre-regs at knuckleheads, got more pre-reg commitments from some old timers. Erik our Friday night speaker will be passing around the flyers in OR.
  • Programs – Moving forward with finalizing the program in April to get it all in the y-app.
  • Facilities – Nothing new
  • EventsCo– Getting the questions ready for the trivia night and flyers are in the works.
  • Registration– Currently have 122 regs input and another 18 to put in. We have 1 sponsorships. Were at about 215.

  • Bid cities – Nothing new
  • Prayer – In the process of gathering info for the meditation/prayer meeting.
  • Special Needs –Spoke to Tyler and there is only 1 that needs special needs at this time, which is wheelchair access. Spoke to Jared about getting and ASL interpreter that’s not certified but we can get one here to cover for anyone who may need it for the event.
  • Web – We have an additional $87 pending from PayPal. Still trying to get the online regs but there is a hiccup on the site to have access to them. Will get the pre-reg form sent to get this posted on NNIG.

  • Facilities – Nothing new
  • Inter-group Liaison– Spoke to inter-group and asked for support. Will be taking the pre-reg forms to the next business meeting.
  • Marathon Meetings – Only has 2 people sighed up for marathon meetings.

Old Business:

  • Pre-Conference Event – Looked into a lot of things: Virginia City ghost tour $15 per person, Wild Island, Need for Speed. Will call the tour companies to see if they can get us up to Virginia City, $739 is the average cost for this. This would cost $50 and we could possibly make $1000 if we get 50 people to go.

Subcommittee Meetings have been communicated through Facebook please keep it through the Google group so everyone can be kept in the loop.

New Business:

  • Open Position –Facilities, Outreach & inter-group liaison, Theme (Skyler will hold the position until someone wants to stand for it)
  • Invasion In-reach – Covered by local community
  • Group Inventory –Person driving this is not present, lets keep this separate from the business meeting
  • Sign Language –Much more cost effective to get someone without a cert. No law around a required ASL accommodation with a cert that we are aware of…
  • Committee Shirts –Possible self purchase committee shirts
