Weather: Warm and dry, no humidity this week! A perfect 10
Please note Pace of Play: Sunset was 8:05 on Thursday and it was dark around 8:30. The last groups on the Jones struggled to make it in before dark because the pace of play on the Jones was about a D-
First group off on the Jones went out at 3:40 and finished in 2:20 minutes. The last groups out waited all night and finished in just under 3 hours. Not sure what teams are responsible for the slow play but it certainly made a mess of things!!!!! It’s August, we should be playing ready golf and we should be speaking up to the players who are slowing us down?
As a courtesy to the teams in the late division, MOVE. You are not the only team playing!
Participation: We used 12 subs last night! The Thursday league continues to run at 100%.

Remaining Schedule for August Aug 11th , this is the last regular scheduled match.
Aug 18th – Top 4 teams begin playoffs for Championship.
Aug 18th - ALL TEAMS PLAY for final point standings in a position week.
Aug 25th – Optional Night 2 man best ball tournament (gross & net) for all. Sign up with Pete
Aug 25th - Championship match scheduled for final 2 teams
Sept 1st – End of year Banquet under the Lyman tent.
· Just a reminder….. The top 10 positions in each division receive prize money $$$
It is very important that all teams remain competitive and play their best regardless of their position in the standings. Thank you!
Standings: We have 1 more week of points on Aug 11th to determine which four teams make it to the playoffs. All teams play Aug 18th for final point standings.
Early Division – Team #3 Csizmar & Gentile hold a 2.5 point lead over team #15 Mazeski & Tomasko and a 3.5 point advantage over team #11 P Heimann & Harrison.
Mid Division - Team # 27 Don & Doug Millett hold a 1.5 point lead over team #21 Malchiodi & Laflamme and a 2.5 point advantage over team #31 the Javors.
Late Division - Team #46 Petit & Howard have run out to an 8 point advantage and have clinched the Late Division.
Wild Card –Currently there are 6 teams within 5 points of the Wild Card chase. The 2nd place team from any of the 3 divisions finishing with the next highest amount of points fills the 4th playoff position. Anything can happen so please remain competitive to the end!

Cost: $75 - per person-Members & Guests Twi Light Members $40 / Full Members $25
Cost includes golf, cart, range balls and many prizes including CTTP on all par 3’s
Also includes a Pasta Buffet at the conclusion of your round.

Event: 4 Person Team Event This Tournament is a very unique 3 in 1 challenge. Every 3 holes each player in the foursome will team up with a different partner for a 2 person scramble. Each player will play a total of 6 holes with each of the other players. All scores on each hole will be combined for a team 18 hole total. Prizes awarded for 18, 9 & 6 hole scores.
Many ways to win! CTTP on all 5 par 3’s.
