The La Grange Leopards will take on the Columbus Cardinals Friday evening @ 7:30 pm in Columbus. Show Your Leopard Pride – Wear Purple/Gold/Leopard Print or LG Spirit Shirts.

v  The Victoria College Vocational Nursing Program, Hallettsville Campus, will be hosting an Information Sessions for prospective students to learn about their nursing program's prerequisites, application process and the new nursing pathway to becoming a registered nurse. The date of the Information Session is:Thursday, November 17, 2016.

v  The Leopard Spots yearbook is now on sale for $50.00 for a limited time. AfterOctober 31stthe rate will go up to $60.00. We have a limited number of books each year and you'll want to reserve your book now, they are unlike anything we have ever created!

v  Attention students and organizations: It's time to get your videos together for the final pep rally.Please start working on your videos. Videos need to be completed and turned into Ms. Muil via email byMonday, October 24th! See Ms. Muil if you have any questions!

v  Any student interested in Credit By Exam for Acceleration, please see one of the counselors.

v  Students, you are reminded that if you are expecting a delivery or if your parent calls with a message for you during the school day, you will find a “please stop by the office” note with your name on it on the message board; which is located between the 200 & 300 wing by the counselor’s office. You will not be called down to the office.

GERMAN CLUB…..

v  German dance and band practice in the cafeteria - eachMonday. Dance begins at3:30 P.M.and band begins at4:15 p.m. Any German student is invited to join. Please see Frau Hartmann for more details.

German Club Breakfast meeting,Friday, October 21, 2016 at 7:45 a.m.in Room 115. This is an important meeting discussing upcoming dinner fundraiser and field trip information. Hope to see you there!

NHS…..

v  Date: Saturday, October 22. What: LGASBC Golf Tournament. La Grange All Sports Booster Club needs help with the golf Tournament on October 22- Starting at 11 until 4. We need help putting out signs, registering teams, selling raffle tickets, assisting with silent auction, putting out tables, handing out water and cleaning up. Any amount of time that they can come would be helpful. If they could please get bought hours and bring Cookies, brownies or any baked good for the tournament. They can even do cakes for the live auction. They can bring to Mrs. Morgan's room (Room 303) on that Friday (October 21) or to Coach Ledwik's room.

NHS service opportunity- Come paint the football field today and everyWednesdaythere is a home game. 4:40at the football stadium

NHS service opportunity- Work the 4th annual K-12 fun run onSaturday, October 22ndat Leopard Stadium.Shifts available from7 am -12 noon. You can work 30 minute shifts or the whole time.Please come and sign up in room 304.

v  Please bring a baked item for our bake sale during our Turkey Dressing Dinner onThursday, Oct. 27th.

Service Opportunity: Help the Rotary Club with games on the square on Halloween! Set-up at3:30; games from4-6 pm. Contact Stacey Norris at301-204-3302to sign-up for a shift.

v  Remember to bring two bags of candy (1 chocolate, 1 other) for the Halloween candy sale. Take candy to Mrs. Carey's room or Mrs. Ledwik's room by the end of this week. Extra bags (up to 6 extra) count as bought service hours. Treat bags may also count as bought hours.

SPANISH CLUB…..

Spanish Club Dinner tickets are now going on sale, please come by Room 117, after school, to pick up your tickets to sell. Also be sure to sign up for remind 101, if you have a problem signing on please notify, Mrs. Caldera, Ms. Zingelmann, or a Spanish Club officer. Next meeting will be on Friday October 21st, in Room 117, Spanish Club Dinner will be discussed.
