Terms & Conditions for Transportation

  1. INSURANCE: Transit Insurance to be arranged by the Consignor / Consignee with a Waiver of right of subrogation against us and necessary details to be provided to us.It is the responsibility of consignor / consignee to insure the goods before booking as a transporter can not insure the goods as per prevailing laws of IRDA as per which transporter does not have insurable interest in the booked goods.
  1. LOADING & UNLOADING: Loading / Unloading is the scope of Consignor / Consignee unless and until specified in our offer.
  1. PAYMENT TERMS: 80% advance and balance within 15 days of submission of proof of Invoice.
  1. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: We are not liable for any kind of damages / penalties for the cargo in case of any eventualities. Shortage claim will be entertained on a maximum value of Rs.10,000/- or on actual value of damage goods, whichever is lower. Deductions in our invoices will not be acceptable.
  1. OCTROI: Octroi, if any, payable on the consignment shall be paid by the Consignor / Consignee. In case it is to be paid by us on behalf of the Consignor / Consignee, the same should be reimbursed to us within 3 days along with Octroi service charges of 3%.
  1. TENTATIVE DATE OF LOADING: To be intimated by yourself.
  1. HALTING CHARGES: Rs.2,000/- per 20’ & Rs. 2500/- per 40’ & Rs. 5000/- per Low Bed trailer per day
  1. FREE TIME: same working day loading and same working day unloading on reporting.
  1. OVER DIMENSION CHARGES: : Any positive change is dimension the additional charges will be discussed mutually and finalize.
  1. EXTRA WEIGHT CHARGES: If the Weight exceeds from the quoted rates, will be charged extra and if any overloading all extra charges, risk and liabilities, RTO expenses to your account.
  1. DIESEL ESCALATION CHARGES: The offer is based on the prevailing price of diesel. In case of any increase in price of diesel, the freight rates shall increase by 0.40% with every 1% increase in price of diesel.
  1. FORCE MAJEURE: Standard Force Majeure clause shall be applicable such as War, Riot, Civil commotion, Flood, Earthquake, Labour conflicts, Special Govt Notifications, etc. Delays and disturbances in the performance of our obligations shall be deemed force majeure if cause by a case of force majeure as defined above.
  1. TAXES AND DUTIES : As applicable will be charged.
  1. DOCUMENTATION : Consignor/Consignee/Customs Clearing Agent is responsible to provide appropriate documents to the drivers. Any delay on road/check post due to improper or inadequate documents will be attributed to consignor / consignee/ agent.
