PTA SPRING NEWSLETTER
Dear Parents
Hope you are enjoying this cold January!
Last term we had very successful events- Race night, Cake raffle, Christmas cards, hamper raffle and Christmas fair.
We raised a fantastic amount of funds for school- over £2000!
Thank you for all your help and efforts to raise this.
As you would of hopefully seen we have just funded the wonderful snakes and ladders number grid in the playground. The children are very happy with it and we are sure they will have a lot of fun with it.
We are also just about to fund a special treat for our years 5 and 6 so watch this space -information will be sent out soon!
PTA Events
The PTA committee are now in full swing organising all our events for this term.
Our first event is Quiz night; it will take place on Friday 31st March @ 7.30pm in the school hall, so please make sure you put that in your diary. Tickets will go on sale a few weeks beforehand. This event has been run for a few years and proves very popular! It will be a very fun night .Please come along with friends or family or we can put you in a team. Start brushing up on your quiz skills now!
Friday Cake raffle
This raises hundreds of pounds each year-appox £300 last term so please keep on entering the raffle. This takes place every Friday morning before school in the playground. Tickets are 10p each or 50p a strip. The raffle is drawn every Friday during worship and the winner takes home the yummy cake to enjoy on the weekend.
Easter:
We will be having an Easter egg raffle which the children get very excited by. We will also be having an Easter hamper raffle. More information will be sent out nearer the time.
Finally we are always looking for new commitee members and more help so If you feel you can spare any time then please do come to our monthly meetings, which will be put on the weekly newsletters. Or if your unable to come then just let a member of the commtee know that you are able to help with PTA events and fundraising.
