We look forward seeing you at your appointment.

IMPORTANT:

•All New Patients pleasearrive 15 minutes prior your appointment start time.

•LASER HAIR REMOVAL- Shave ALL areas the morning of your appointment.If area is not shaved, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. Do not shave the night before. It is important to shave the MORNING of the appointment.

•No Show will be charged a $25 Cancellation Fee

•It is extremely important that all makeup, lotions, deodorant, etc. be washed off prior to treatment. It is the patient's responsibility to clean the area prior to entering the laser room. There is a risk if not done so.

•If patient is taking antibiotics or was taking antibiotics prior to treatment date, it is the patient’s responsibility to notify the staff at the Spa. If you are taking antibiotics or have taken antibiotics in the past 4 weeks, please contact us to reschedule. There is a risk if not informed.

•No sun exposure for 1 month prior to treatment. If you arrive to your appointment with sun exposure, your appointment will have to be rescheduled. No sun exposure for 2 weeks after treatment. SPF 50+ is highly recommended and reinforced.

•No exercise for 24 hours post treatment for Laser Hair Removal.

•If you arrive late to your appointment, you will run the risk of having your appointment rescheduled for another day.

•If you have a TATTOO, the tattoo must be covered completely by the patient the day of treatment. White surgical tape only.

•Any surgical or cosmetic procedure done prior to treatment must be notified to us prior to treatment.

MINORS: Minors (under 18) interested in any service at Essence Day Spa should only be treated if they are accompanied by their legal guardian/parent only. Legal guardian/parent must be present in the treatment room at the time of service. Before beginning the first treatment, we must receive a copy of the minor's birth certificate, if the minor child does not have I.D. or license and legal guardian/parent must show proof of guardianship. Minor should be supervised with the legal guardian/parent for every treatment thereafter.

Children are not allowed inside the treatment room for liability and safety reasons. If you are bringing your child to your appointment, please make sure you have an adult watching over your child in the lobby during your treatment time. Children should always wait in the lobby with an adult. For safety and liability reasons, children should not be left with the staff to supervise them and should not be left alone in the lobby area.

CANCELLATION AND/OR NO SHOW POLICY AT ESSENCE DAY SPA

All patients must contact Essence Day Spa at 305-728-4944 or email: at least 24-hours prior to appointment time to cancel or reschedule their appointment. There is a $25.00 Cancellation/No Show Fee and the patient will be charged using the credit card on file. Patient will be asked for a Credit Card to hold on file for this reason. If the patient refuses to provide a credit card number and/or refuses to abide by these conditions, Essence Day Spa will deduct services from an existing package or refuse treatment at next visit until fee has been paid.
