Autumn Newsletter – October 2016

WE HAVE MOVED - OUR MAILING ADDRESS IS NOW:

807 St. Martins Drive, Pickering, Ontario, L1W 1N1

President's Message

What a long, hot summer we had this year. The days are still quite warm and I for one am not ready to pack away my flip flops yet.

Now we are moving into shorter days and my favourite time of the year. I imagine you are all busy getting ready for the upcoming holiday season with Thanksgiving just around the corner and Christmas only a little over two months away.

Simcoe Chapter has offered many opportunities to get together this year. We offered several luncheons for our members as well as seven one day trips. Some of our members also participated in the two golf tournaments put on by our Sister Chapters.

We are very happy to again this year to be combining our Christmas Luncheon with the Pineridge Chapter, you will find more details about this in this newsletter.

Simcoe Chapter are always looking for new members and for our inactive members to become Active members by paying the yearly dues of $10. You will find a form in this newsletter as well as a self addressed envelope to submit your 2017 dues. Benefits of becoming an Active Member are receiving quarterly Newsletters, reduced membership rate for Goodlife Fitness and preferred rates for Johnson Insurance including their Medoc Travel Insurance. Active or paid members pay less for our luncheons as well.

I would like to thank all the members who have participated in our events this year and look forward to seeing you all again next year.
