Past Events
renaissance preview
The Renn Preview went well, though, as expected, did not have as big of a turnout as the regular Renn Faire. There were two shifts each day for the four days (May 28-30, June 4-5) and there were two pubs (Blue Lion, Wooden Badger) and one beer cart, which sold only beer cans. The two pubs also sold Meade and five different wines. Due to a shortage in variance, we will have procedures in place for all cash events going forward for checks and balances purposes.
blue and red mass
The 5th Sunday Mass was a success, relatively speaking to past 5th Sundays. This was the first time the rosary was done before the Mass; there were 28 for the rosary, 40 for the Mass in reserved seating and 40 more Knights not seated together in church but with their families.
Ongoing Events
installation dinner
The dinner is Tuesday, June 28; it replaces the council meeting. The Freise’s (who have done dinners in the past, including the 4th degree installation dinner earlier this month) should be catering. If coming to the dinner, you will pay $5/person at the door. Doors open at 6 pm for cocktails, dinner follows at 6:30. We will be giving away some allocations and other rewards in addition. Also children and wives are invited to the dinner. Here is the link to sign up:
You can also contact Joe Young r 314-276-3056 to sign up.

county fair
Our council will continue our annual county fair involvement by selling margaritas at a margarita booth within the fair at Rotary Park from Tuesday, July 26-Saturday, July 30. Also, we will take in cash from the vehicles for admission on Friday, July 29. There will eventually be signups for working the margarita booth (all days of the fair) and the front gate (Friday night only).
