2013 MIGHTY MULLET BAY DAYVENDOR INVITATION

(FORMERLY MIGHTY MULLET MARITIME FESTIVAL)

The 2013 Mighty Mullet Bay Day Festival, aone-day outdoor event in Woolley Park located on the waterfront in Panacea, Florida, is scheduled for Saturday, October 19. The Festival is a benefit for the Big Bend Maritime Center, a living museum that we are creating adjacent to Woolley Parkto honor the maritime history and heritage of the Big Bend. So, mark your calendars nowand submit your vendor booth application as soon as possible. Although there are plenty of great spots, we do assign them by the date your application is received.

We will do our job on publicity and planning an exciting event with boating events,lots ofgames and contests for children and adults,maritime exhibits and demonstrations, and many other activities.

Location: WoolleyPark, Panacea, Florida. This WakullaCountyParkis on DickersonBay in Panacea,two blocks off of US 98 (Coastal Highway) about 30 miles south of Tallahassee. (On MapQuest enter 1327 Coastal Highway, Panacea, FL.The Park is on the water two blocks east of this address.) The Park is also the location of the Blue Crab Festival and other public events so is well known to the public. It has many excellent spots for booths, many with access to electricity and water.

Entry Requirements: We reserve the right to turn down vendors of certain products. We prefer original arts and crafts but we also accept food products (preserves, honey, etc.) and certain manufactured products. No “flea market” vendors allowed. See the attached application for more details.

Food Vendors Note: This is promoted as a seafood festival so we are especially interested in seafood vendors but we also must serve those who prefer other types of food. We will limit the number of food and concession vendors to avoid having too many of the same type so if you are a food or concession vendor, submit your application as early as possible. You must specify the one to three products most essential for your success and must only sell those items plus beverages. We will allow more products if no one else has them as essential. Also, please include the length of your rig in your application and how much electricity you use. All food and concession vendors must have business licenses and liability insurance.

Schedule: The hours for booths are 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. You must remain open for business throughout these hours. We cannot allow vehicles entering or leaving during the Festival. We will lay-outthe booth locations on Friday morning and show you your spotwhen you arrive either Friday afternoon from 3 - 7 P.M. or from 7:30 to 9 A.M. on Saturday morning. All vehicles must be removed from the festival grounds on Saturday morning by 9:30 A.M.

Fees: See attached registration form. Part of the fees are paid to Wakulla County Parks and the rest help pay for advertisementso if you can sign up early it will help us pay for the ads as we go along and will give you a better booth location.
