2016 WCR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The WCR Scholarship Program is funded exclusively by this Local Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors through its fund raisers. The purpose of the program is to promote career development and leadership skills. Qualified awards will assist the WCR Realtor® member in their pursuit of a Realtor® designation. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of attendance and participation in Chapter activities.
Any WCR Realtor® in good standing whose dues are current may apply for consideration. One can start earning points when membership is activated.
As a minimum to apply, a WCR Member Realtor® must have attended at least 8 Chapter meetings that may include Membership Meetings, a new Member Recruitment/Orientation, Governing Board Meetings, Committee Meetings and/or Special Event Committee Meetings in 2016.
Realtors are on the honor system and will keep track of his/her Chapter participation. A point system will determine whether a WCR Member Realtor® qualifies.
Evidence of class completion must accompany all applications and only those classes necessary to earn a Realtor® designation or certification will be reimbursed. A WCR Member Realtor® must complete the class in 2016.
Scholarships will be awarded at the January, 2016, membership meeting at which time the WCR Member Realtor® will be reimbursed.
