OBJECTIVES
Participants will be able to:
- List 3 key factors in the practice of clinical pain management to help reverse the current trend of opioid addiction and overdose
- Discuss 2 emerging policy issues affecting the occupational medical professional practice with the advent of medical marijuana use and the legalization of recreational marijuana in Washington State
- Identify 4 tools the health care provider can use to prevent long term disability and assist the injured worker in returning to the workplace.
- Describe 4 key emergency procedures healthcare workers can use to prevent or reduce harm when confronted by an active shooter in the workplace.
