4. Only for background on AM and KM. Too much information to learn within two weeks.
5. I would like to have more clarifications about the mini-project, so as to know that I am searching in the correct direction and I am not out of scope of the module.
6. Any, this course had showed how to approach unknown fields. On the other hand it had she me continuous improvement. Preparing the final presentation of this course, converting theory into practical proposals worth learning by doing.
7. No particular knowledge required apart from previous modules.

Did the module prepare you to undertake the module assessment? Yes 19 No 1

If not, what was lacking?

It was self-learning.

What elements of the module did you find the most informative?

1. Putting together the different aspects and analysing the several links between every asset on the organization.
2. Exercise part is useful to make student aware about the importance to manage organization’s asset and knowledge in regards of creating robust decision.
3. The various dimensions to analyse in order to achieve excellence irrespective of industry sector.
4. To understand how shallow I am in the KM and AM.
5. Situation awareness. Content store of webpage.
6. As we had to choose our own part of asset management, I found resource utilization.
7. Content/website.
8. As we had to choose one of the elements of asset management, and then brief the team on it, this made me realise the importance of the topic.
9. Content store and website. Structured literature review based on work done by team members.
10. Reading the literature and discussions with the team members.
11. Integration. I enjoyed working with integration of a ~”huge” body of knowledge, not only summarizing, but integrating.
12. Becoming aware of a depth of facilities management topic and how this and other areas matter to business.
13. In-module task. Situational awareness.
14. Self-exploration and how to manage time helped me to know the scope of this topic. Eye opener.
15. The various aspects of Asset management. The practicality in its application.
16. The wide topic of KM, even though it requires lots of efforts, the contents are interesting, which we can find information on the website easily.
17. In-module project.
18. Knowledge management and always teamwork.
19. Self-directed research.
20. Informative is the wrong word. There was no information provided. This was about creating a real situation, that was extremely challenging in lots of ways: leadership, condensing of information, time, system thinking, team work. The experience of all this was the interesting part.

What improvements do you think could be made? (please be specific and constructive)

1. Some understanding about the expectations of the final outcome (presentation, objectives, portfolio) would be helpful.
2. Since the module is so huge, I think a small introduction of the content will be helpful to make student fully understand about the module.
3. More introductory information to kick start.
4. Provide more information.
5. I would like to have a couple of lectures on each aspect. Just introductory ones that will help us begin the literature review.
6. To have one day after the presentations and reflection for summarizing the module.
7. Co-ordination with team, more negotiation and idea exchange.
8. To give more information about the company to allow students to get more realistic approaches to the company (e.g. financial figures , budgets)
9. I’m not sure but I was thinking about asking for “feedforward”.
10. More constraints to make it easier for us. Maybe one more session, but hard to choose topic.
11. Some lectures and seminars. Some exercise as team.
12. The timing of the presentation be increased to 25 minutes instead of 20.
13. More time to do the task.
14. Practical industrial examples in use.
15. A little more guidance on the portfolio would have been useful – just in terms of expectations. Not much else really. Climate change exercise didn’t seem like a good fit, although link to strategy was useful.
