AT BELLBIRDPARK DROUIN COMMENCING AT 7.30PM
Present:Bob Rogers [Pres], Michael Wardle[Sec], David Sharpe, Brian Sell, Grant Duncan, Grant Williams, John Allsop, Gary Donaghue.

Meeting was suspended, Yarragons representatives Ashley Smith and Luis Borsato arrived in regards to our decision regarding Yarragon v Hallora in Div 5 result being declared a draw.
Executive member Brian Sell informed Yarragon of the rules in regards to calling a no-ball for not telling the umpire of a bowling change, this was backed up by VCCL, Yarragon accepted decision and decision stands. Some discussion took place on sportsmanship and conduct in Hallora game and it was pointed out that both teams ended game in good spirits. Bob thanked Luis and Ashley for attending.

Yarragon CC unable to open attachment containing Hallora letter, advised will send to John Allsop. Yarragon asking if Ashley Smith can attend next meeting on this matter.
Region 7 re- address and phone number Charlie Pierrrehumbert for luncheon.
Notification U-12s can play a one day game if not enough players available on 26th Jan following week.
Ken Pratt requesting umpire assessment reports to be carried out.
Numerous emails in regards to Leigh Diston senior permit request.
Gippsland U18s win Commonwealth state championship, Jordan Wyatt player of the grand Final.

Drouin CC-- Doug Hawkins and Rodney Hogg Night on the 19th Feb.
Neerim CC-- in regards to why Ben O’Neill was selected in GCL U18s after playing 2 matches, would like Executive to formulate guidelines for next season.
WDCA Junior Minutes.
John Allsop—re-previous minutes no mention of team of the year. Advised that no action was stated in my notes but discussion did take place, will add in last months minutes oncean amendment to minutes is moved.
Region 7 advising WDCA Yarragon to play in one day final in Kookaburra Cup.
John Barnes advising change of venue from turf to synthetic for 2nd days plays of Warragul v Hallora U16 game. Brian Sell to look into.
VCCL- Andrew McDonald Fundraising appeal info.
Drouin CC- Advising Warragul CC rang him advising forfeit 2nd days play in Div 4. Passed onto Brian Sell and Gary Donaghue.
Ray Watkins in regards to why Warragul CC needed to change 2nd days play v Drouin in Div 2, Baw Baw Shire watered pitch area , this was why pitch wasn’t covered on Friday before game.
Neerim CC in regards to accessing insurance for broken windscreen at one day final-passed onto Jenny for clarification.
Leigh Diston permit rejected by independent tribunal.

Kim Charlton- agreements in regards of Cricket/ Football seasons.

Region 7 Rep: No meeting. GCL finals went well, Region 7 secretary thanked all involved.
General Business:
Neerim CC request discussion on U-18 GCL teams.
#Discussion took place in regards to GCL and Country Week, it was decided a review and restructure will occur before next season.

DIV 1-Western Park- Eastern Park –Hallora {decision on two grounds will be made after final home and away game].
Div 2- Yarragon and Turf wicket.
Div 3 – Drouin Rec and Buln Buln.
Div 4 – Jindivick and Longwarry.
Div 5 – Marist Sion and Garfield.
Reserve grounds are Ellinbank, Bellbird Park and Yarragon no 2 ground.
GRAND FINALS:
Div 1-2,WesternPark – EasternPark – Hallora [Best 2 grounds to be decided after semi}
Div 3 – Yarragon.
Div 4- Jindivick.
Div 5 – Buln Buln.

#Selection panel consisting Gary Donaghue- David Sharpe- Grant Duncan – Brian Sell to choose team of the year from all clubs 1st grade teams of each club, certificates to be presented at presentation night.
Final decision on Juniors round one.
# It was decided that senior executive decision would stand, round one reinstated as normal round. Completed rounds should not be cancelled, votes and player averages to be included in season results.
Presentation Night; Downtowner . Gary Donaghue- Mick Wardle – Jenny Vincent- Grant Duncan to organise night.
# It was decided to raffle a couple of signed cricket bats on presentation night _ Brian sell to bring bats to night, also Jenny Vincent organised a basket of goodies as another prize last year contact Jenny to see if she will do again.
Brian Sell to organise grand final pennants from last season as clubs didn’t receive them, also one day final pennants for this year.
Mick Wardle to send invites to Life Members and Major sponsors.

U18s Shirts, received email asking if U18s could keep after winning GCL final- Discussion took place and it was moved David Sharpe 2nd Brian Sell that shirts be returned as they are to last three years as previous Executive had decided, also it was felt a president would be set if this occurred. It was decided to or presents Photo of team to each member on presentation night.
Brian Sell brought up that we require Guidelines for tribunal matters, Brian will follow up.
Mick Wardle to deal with overdue public officer letter from Department of Justice- Consumer affairs.
20/20 format for next season- Bob Rogers, Brian Sell, John Allsop to look into.
Clubs are to be reminded that 6 days of cricket qualifies players for Finals.
John Allsop would like 20/20 rules included on our website- Gary Donaghue to chase up.
Grant Williams brought up the idea for the association to hire a high ranking coach to run a couple of clinics with our best junior players in September 2011, Mick Wardle to contact Rob Wood if he has any ideas on this matter.
Discussion took place on lack of umpires again; next season each club to supply one umpire each week was suggested, umpires to meet once a month at Bellbird for social drinks and tea, form a umpires association like football, need to talk to Ken Pratt and get his opinion.
