28. Until just after the Second World War a church, St Mary, of c.1880 stood on Grosvenor Hill W1.It was then demolished and no trace remains.
The Estate would like to commemorate the church and also provide an interesting incident in the townscape. To this end I am looking fora bell, which needs a home and could live out in the open. We would inscribe the bell with a short text on the history of the church. It would be desirable but not essential if the bell could be contemporary with the church. / Contact – Timothy Jones
